Take Me Deeper Week 5

It only seems 5 minutes since I sat here typing up last week's post! It's been a bit of a whirlwind week for us with the Deregistration letter going in to school, then the transformation of the front room/dining room area started lol! We have boxes of 'stuff' to go up to the attic, boxes of 'stuff' we want to keep but don't quite know where to put yet, we've been up to the tip twice with 2 car loads of 'stuff' we definitely could get rid of...and we're still not finished! We're doing more today though so am hoping that with one final push we can get to having an empty conservatory and can then get the bookcases out of the garage and organise 'stuff' and the exercise equipment out there in the conservatory, leaving an emptier dining room area for doing school work in! That's the plan anyway lol!

So, on to my Week 5 piece for Take Me Deeper at His Kingdom Come!

My Week 5 page - came out pretty different lol! It feels to me like a good summing up page for the month though.
I did all the suggested reading plus some extra bits I felt drawn to. The verses I used for inspiration/represented in this page are:
Phil 2:14 You must shine among them like stars lighting up the sky.
1Tim 6:16 He alone is immortal; he lives in the light that no one can approach.
1 Peter 1:24 All human beings are like grass, and all their glory is like wild flowers. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the Word of the Lord remains for ever.
1 John 1: 5 & 7 God is light and there is no darkness at all in Him. But if we live in the light as He is in the light then we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from every sin.
Which then took me on to John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word; the Word was with God and the Word was God. From the very beginning the Word was with God. Through him God made all things; not one thing in all creation was made without him. The Word was th
e source of life, and this life brought light to humanity. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has never put it out.
So! I've got us shining as stars lighting up the sky, which fades into darkness - but not total blackness - there is still light there! The butterflies representing transformation are there, attracted to the light and the Word. The withered grass and fallen flowers of humans and their glory are seen and The Word towers above, strong and remaining for ever. There's a path through the grass and flowers to The Word - a path of hope which can be trod confidently and which will lead us to The Word, and the light, and the fellowship with one another.
Created this all myself with CU brushes and textures and the one font smile emoticon
TFL!
