Advent 2016, 5th December, Day 9

Advent Day 9

Based on the Advent hymn O Come, Divine Messiah. There were so many beautiful words in this hymn but I narrowed it down to these! After celebrating my eldest daughter's 20th Birthday yesterday, thoughts are definitely back fully on the coming days. Remembering  my 56-hour labour yesterday definitely made me grateful for the place and time in which I live. I'm sure, in days gone by, my daughter may well not have lived.
