Advent 2016 - 29th November, Day 3
Advent Day 3
I'm so pleased! I managed to find my old hymn book with the music in that I used when playing the organ at Church! There are loads of Advent hymns in there to inspire me!
These words are from a beautiful hymn called Lord Emmanuel, Come, which I used to play at Church. The Refrain I have saved for another day and another piece as the words are so beautiful! Take Me Deeper - Advent Day 10 - 8th December 2015
Advent Day 10 - 8th December - Come Let Us Adore Him
I used a couple of papers of mine and then added loads of brushwork and the figures. I wanted to give the impression of an ancient landscape but have the figures seem more modern...to make the Carol a call to us all in every age. Then I digitally painted it!
